Introduction
Many timber windows are inherently draughty. With gaps of 3 mm and more around the edge they typically account for 20% of the heat loss from your home. Our sealing system will usually reduce this heat loss by about 80%. It will also reduce noise transmission, dust penetration and eliminate rattles during windy weather.

Release of top and bottom sashes
Opening of access panel
Easing and shaving of sashes to fit
Alignment of meeting rails
Grooving of horizontal sash rails
Supply and fitting of seals to rails
Supply and fitting of parting beads with integral seals
Supply & fitting of new staff beads
Supply and fitting of additional weights
Supply and fitting of new sash cords

Materials
Selected timber, brush seals, reinforced cotton sash cord, cast iron or lead make-up weights
